Micaela is a 10th grade student from North Carolina. She is passionate about theatre, social justice, and community. As a bilingual, Peruvian American, Micaela founded Alianza NC to help bring information, news, and artistic expression to the Latiné community in North Carolina.

Hoang Linh is a high school sophomore from North Carolina. He plays competitive soccer and speaks three languages. He joined Alianza NC to help raise awareness about issues impacting North Carolina’s communities of color.

Catarina is a bilingual high school sophomore from North Carolina. She is active in gymnastics and committed to issues of equity and justice. She joined Alianca NC because she felt she needed to do something to give a voice to the Latine community,
